New Music by Brett Eldredge, Chris Young, Kayla Calabrese and Callie Twisselman this week on 95 Country.

Finally!  Several songs have run their course on the charts, which frees up some room on our playlist for more new music.

First, we have Brett Eldredge's new song "Drunk On Your Love" going into rotation.  It's the follow-up to his #1 hit "Lose My Mind."  Brett will be hitting the road this summer as part of Keith Urban's 50+ date Ripcord tour which includes a stop at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans in October.  Brett recently told Rolling Stone Magazine that the music video for his new song is inspired by the Michael Keaton film "Multiplicity."

"Think Of You" is the second single from Chris Young's album I'm Coming Over.  I think it's the perfect follow-up to the title track, which was released as the first single and rocketed up to the top of all the music charts.  Chris enlisted the help of Cassadee Pope on the vocals for this song.  Chris says he has wanted to work with Cassadee on a song since the first time he heard her perform.  This is one of the nine songs that Chris wrote, or co-wrote for his new album.

We also have room to add a couple of independent country singers this week too.

Kayla Calabrese's new song "Give" is steadily making it's way up the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, breaking into the Top 50 on the January 14th chart.  With her Jersey-girl attitude and romantic Italian soul, Kayla Calabrese brings her own flair to the country music scene.  Being an artist has always been an aspiration of Kayla’s, but it wasn’t until age 16 that this “hairbrush singer” made the bold decision to make her dreams a reality.  With a go-getter spirit, Kayla decided to take voice lessons, and a few years later, made the brave move to Music City to pursue her passion for music.

Upon moving to Nashville, Kayla began recording with Grammy nominated music producer Kent Wells, best known for producing Dolly Parton.  As a musician, Kayla can show her strong disposition in one song, yet become vulnerable with the next. This raw emotion can be found in her newest single “Give,” on radio now!

A music video is in the works, so in the meantime, check out the lyric video out there so you can learn all the words to Kayla's new song!

And we're also adding Callie Twisselman's new song "Hung Me On The Line."  I have a feeling that Callie listened to a lot of Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton records, because this refreshingly traditional song sounds very much like something from the early-70s.  It has a bit of a Western swing feel to it also, which makes it stand out strongly against the over-processed, over-compressed music that tends to come from the major labels in Nashville.

Scott Sexton at One Stop Country sums up this new single in one line: "Nothing makes a song stand out more than an artist who can paint a portrait, leaving you a visual so profound that your mind continues on an emotional roller coaster even when it is complete."
