The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is now accepting online applications for Wildlife Management Area (WMA) turkey draw hunts.   Applications can be submitted at; the deadline to submit applications is February 15.

All applicants must have a valid WMA user permit to apply.  WMA user permits are available for purchase online at or may be purchased anywhere hunting licenses are sold.

Permitted turkey hunts are offered to provide a quality turkey hunting experience and are available on 19 WMAs across the state for this hunting season.

Additionally, special youth-only turkey draw hunts are available on Canemount WMA, Charles Ray Nix WMA, Natchez State Park, Sardis Waterfowl WMA, Sunflower WMA, and Ward Bayou WMA. Participants for these hunts must be 15 years of age or younger.
