Bomb threat at Ferriday schools

FERRIDAY, La. — First responders rushed to Ferriday High School and Ferriday Lower Elementary yesterday. Deputies with the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office said the schools received bomb threats via social media.

According to deputies, they received a call just after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9. Authorities say that a  threat was written on Facebook. The threat stated that the bombs would go off at 9:15 a.m.

The person responsible for making the threat could face up to 15 years as well as a $15,000 fine.
