Local Company Announces Expansion and Hiring Opportunities in Natchez

NATCHEZ, Miss. — Officials from Great River Industries (GRI), formerly known as Enersteel, announce the company is increasing its employment opportunities at its Natchez, Miss. facility. Great River Industries specializes in fabricated steel plate products that include storage tanks and pressure vessels for industrial process markets. Recognized as a leader in large-scale, specialty engineering, fabrication and construction services, Great River Industries’ customers include oil and gas, power generation, liquefied natural gas, petro-chemical and other industrial industries. The company also produces ductwork and other major air quality control components for the power and energy industry.

Since beginning in Natchez and Adams County in 2011, Great River Industries’ initial investment in our area was $20 Million with 150 direct jobs. Since then, the company has expanded their operations to accommodate numerous business sectors. Since their announcement in 2011, Great River Industries has set their targeted sales goal for 2018 at $100 Million. On average, Great River Industries employs 180 to 200 people with some of the most common job opportunities being: welders, fitters, and office personnel.
