Defender- one who champions the cause of disadvantaged person or group.

She inspires hope in others with her thoughtful actions, making the world around her a little warmer. And though she would never ask for the spotlight, Merit Health Natchez wants to give her the recognition she deserves. Nominate the Caring Woman in your life by September 25, 2017 to be considered as one of Merit Health Natchez’s Caring Women of 2017. Our Celebration of Caring Women will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017. We will recognize all those nominated and one remarkable woman in each category will be named the 2017 Merit Health Natchez Caring Woman.

We have made the process easier than ever to nominate someone! You don’t have to choose which category your nominee “fits in”; the judges will do that for you! We also shortened the application to 150 words or less. Nominations may be made by any person over the age of 18.

Applications received after September 25, 2017 will not be considered for awards.
