The Mississippi Department of Education is sending digital learning coaches to more than 60 schools across the state. That includes in the Natchez-Adams School Districts. The deployment is part of a state program called the Mississippi Connects Initiative, which is aimed at improving student performance through technology, and preparing teachers and administrators. The same program was responsible for distributing more than 3,000 Chromebooks to students in the early days of the pandemic to allow students to learn from home.
