The latest figures show progress in getting folks in Adams County vaccinated against COVID-19. The number of people in the county who have gotten at least one dose of a COVID vaccine is up 8 percentage points since July. As of Monday, just over 48% of Adams County residents had gotten at least one jab, while nearly 39% were fully vaccinated. Those numbers were just shy of 40 and 35 percent respectively as of a month ago. Those numbers were also released before the Food and Drug Administration announced full approval of the Pfizer vaccine Monday, a move that is expected to ease concerns for some who haven’t yet gotten the COVID shot.
