Search for Missing Teen Continues

The search continues for Lyla Vandevelde, a 16-year old from Natchez who hasn’t been seen since the 6th. Law enforcement says the girl and her sister ran away from home at the same time, and while the sibling has been found, Vandevelde has not. She’s white, 5’4″, 115 pounds, with red hair that goes below the shoulder and blue eyes. The Adams County sheriff isn’t elaborating but says he has reason to believe she’s still in the county.
