Cleanup and power restoration work continues this morning after yesterday’s storms. High winds were the primary culprit, knocking down branches and full trees, tearing down power lines and blocking streets across the Miss-Lou. A light pole on US 61 snapped in the wind, and a tree blocked a road near Cloverdale when it fell with power lines tangled in the branches. The forecast for the next several days calls for notably quieter weather.
