With tours of Natchez’s decorated historic homes, enchanting light displays and a 34-foot Christmas tree on Main Street, there is no shortage of activities for everyone to enjoy.

Christmas in Natchez Kickoff Celebration – Saturday, Nov. 25
Christmas in Natchez kicks off with the annual tree-lighting event on Main Street in the center of downtown. Held on Thanksgiving weekend, this event features pyrotechnics set to music, Santa inside Home Bank, caroling around the tree, delicious food vendors, a petting zoo, kids rides and other family friendly activities.

Caroling in the Park – Thursdays in December
Caroling in the Park, put on by the Christmas in Natchez Committee, will take place each Thursday in December in Memorial Park – located just behind St. Mary’s Basilica in downtown Natchez. The park is already adorned with beautiful lighting surrounding the giant oak trees with an extravagant fountain in the center. This year, there will be special lighted nursery rhyme themed displays throughout the park, inviting visitors to take a stroll through this stunning location. The caroling will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last approximately one hour.
Natchez Christmas Village Markets – Weekends in December, beginning Dec. 7
In partnership with American Queen Voyages, Christmas in Natchez will bring a festive European style Christmas market to town for a month-long celebration. Guests are invited to shop their way through the festive stalls, where they will find local crafts, seasonal treats and unique holiday gifts, perfect for checking off holiday shopping lists.

Natchez Garden Club’s Christmas Tour of Homes – Friday, Nov. 24 – Sunday, Dec. 31
Natchez Garden Club’s Christmas tours offer a delightful blend of tradition, history and holiday cheer, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the unique yuletide charm of Natchez. Beloved historic homes, including Magnolia Hall, Monmouth Historic Inn and Dunleith Mansion, make spirits bright when they open for Christmas tours. These homes will deck the halls this holiday season for guests from all over to admire the classic estates and festive decorations.

Christmas at Sunnyside “Do You See What I See?” Tours – Friday, Nov. 24 – Sunday, Dec. 31
Sunnyside is an elegant, 1850s Greek-Revival cottage situated on 10 acres near historic downtown Natchez. During the Christmas season, the historic home, which is also a bed and breakfast, decorates up to 30 trees with different holiday fashions and opens its doors for Christmas at Sunnyside “Do You See What I See?” tours from Nov. 24-Dec. 31. The tours begin at 1:30 p.m. and admission is $25.

The Towers’ Jeweled Christmas Tours – Friday, Nov. 17 – Sunday, Dec. 31
The historic Towers Mansion decks the halls for the holiday season and invites all to marvel at the splendor of this majestically restored home during its Jeweled Christmas tours, which USA Today has named one of the top 10 most unusual Christmas displays in the United States. Admission is $30.
