Following an inquiry to T-Mobile regarding its expansion plans, the telecom giant confirmed the upcoming opening of a new store in Natchez. Scheduled to welcome customers between the late first quarter and early second quarter, the new establishment will be located at 340 John R. Junkin Drive. This venture into Natchez represents T-Mobile’s first foray into Adams County.
The decision to open a store in Natchez fills a notable gap in T-Mobile’s service coverage, with the nearest existing store located in Vicksburg, MS.
In response to our inquiry, John Stevens, Vice President for T-Mobile’s Small Markets & Rural Areas, shared insights into the company’s objectives for the new store. “The future opening of the Natchez store is a great way for T-Mobile to build better relationships with our customers in this area,” said Stevens. He emphasized that T-Mobile’s push into smaller, more rural communities like Natchez is aimed at more than just enhancing wireless connectivity. It is about providing face-to-face information and training on T-Mobile products and services, fostering closer community ties, and contributing positively to the local economy.
