In the wake of the devestating severe weather that has hit Grenada, Leflore, and Walthall counties in Mississippi, The Seeds of Change Resource Foundation is organizing a donation drive at the Duncan Park Canteen VFW Building, running from March 18 to March 21, between 12 PM and 5 PM.
With widespread destruction leaving many without essential supplies, organizers are calling on the public to contribute urgently needed items. These include:
- Flashlights and tarpaulins for those without power or shelter.
- Easy-to-make food items, non-perishable goods, and beverages such as water and energy drinks.
- Sanitary products, personal hygiene items, and baby products to support families in need.
- Cleaning supplies, gloves, trash bags, and paper products to assist with recovery efforts.
- Blankets and towels to provide warmth and comfort to displaced individuals.
With the support of local residents, relief efforts can help bring stability and hope to those affected by this disaster. Anyone able to contribute is encouraged to drop off donations at the designated location.
