NATCHEZ, MS — Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus is celebrating a major milestone this spring, reporting a 16% increase in enrollment and an impressive 35% rise in the number of graduates compared to last year.
This marks the third consecutive semester of enrollment growth for the Natchez Campus, a testament to the focused, collaborative work of faculty and staff. Leaders attribute the success to improvements in internal workflow, targeted student support initiatives, and data-informed strategies that have helped boost retention and student engagement.
“We’re not just enrolling students, we’re supporting them every step of the way to graduation,” said Dr. Pernell Goodwin, Vice President of the Natchez Campus. “This growth is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our entire Wolfpack Family.”
Signature recruitment events such as Co-Lin Day and CTE Preview Day have played key roles in attracting prospective students by offering immersive, hands-on experiences with faculty, programs, and campus life. Beyond campus events, the active presence of staff and faculty in the community has strengthened relationships and trust throughout the region.
Co-Lin’s strong track record of student achievement continues to set it apart. The college has repeatedly earned the #1 ranking in Mississippi for Student Success, a distinction now mirrored in its rising graduation rates. This spring, 130 students will graduate, marking a 35% increase from the previous year.
The Class of 2025 will be honored at the Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, May 15 at 10 a.m. at the Natchez Convention Center, where families, faculty, and community members will gather to celebrate their accomplishments.
Enrollment is already open for upcoming semesters. Prospective students are encouraged to contact Enrollment Services at 601-442-9111 or visit www.colin.edu to take the next step in their educational journey.
