The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cornelius Elijah Allen, a 31-year-old man who has been reported missing and is considered at risk.
Allen was last seen driving a 2017 black Volkswagen Tiguan with Mississippi license plate 910 CVB. The vehicle was discovered abandoned in the roadway near D.A. Biglane Road and Canal Street in Natchez during the early morning hours of February 26, 2026.
According to call records, officers with the Natchez Police Department were dispatched around 1:57 a.m. in reference to a vehicle sitting unattended at a traffic light. The SUV, confirmed to display Mississippi tag 910 CVB, was later towed from the scene. At the time it was recovered, neither the vehicle nor Allen had been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.

While the vehicle has since been recovered, Allen’s whereabouts remain unknown.
He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Family members report that Allen suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment, making the situation especially urgent.
Authorities urge anyone with information about Allen’s location to call 911 if they are in Adams County. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Southwest Regional Crime Stoppers at (888) 442-5001.
Officials emphasize that any detail, no matter how small, could be critical in helping bring Allen home safely. Updates will be released as more information becomes available.
