Vidalia Police officer Daniel Lloyd has resigned after being charged with first‑offense DWI following a two‑vehicle crash on U.S. 84. The crash occurred Wednesday evening on 84 West Side Drive, less than a mile from the police department. Lloyd, who was off duty at the time, was the only person injured.
