Listen Up Y’all Media has an opening for On-Location On-Air Talent. This is a family owned and managed company, since the 1960’s. You can be in control of your own destiny. We are looking for a person, who wants to live where they play, doing quality, community driven radio. The right person understands engaging listeners and clients with great on-air content, fantastic production. We want you out in the community, being involved locally, having fun, living the good life!
We don’t want this gig to be a stepping-stone, it should be your destination.
Our city, Natchez, Mississippi, founded in 1716, is the oldest city on the Mississippi River. It’s a small town with a big city swag. It has a cool, progressive vibe and is often described as the “Little Easy”, an architectural masterpiece, a creative economy with art, music, galleries, film productions and festivals. If you are into outdoor adventure, hunting and fishing, we’ve got that covered too! Our people are the real gem of our town. Super friendly and welcoming!
Job Responsibilities:
- Commercial Production
- Create and Assist PD with Imaging
- Create/Assist in Creation of Revenue Generating Promotion Ideas
- Follow Direction of Program Director
- Oversee the Execution of Promotions and Contests
- Assist with Content Creation/Curation for Social Media Feeds and Website
- Prep and Deliver Live On-Air Shift
- Prep and Deliver Voice-Tracked On-Air Shift
Qualifications:
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Audition, and Illustrator (Preferred)
- Experience or Formal Education in Broadcasting (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License

- Passion for LOCAL Radio
- Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize Assignments
- Strong Organizational Skills and Solid Work Ethic
- Ability to Speak Clearly and Naturally
2 Weeks PTO (1st week available after 6 months of employment)
