WIC participants in Mississippi have some additional options in a bid to offset the ongoing shortage of baby formula. The program has approved eight more products and package sizes to the list of qualifying purchases, up from four offerings. The expansion of the approved products continues through August. Mississippi WIC has also gotten a waiver from the US Department of Agriculture for the medical documentation required to change a prescribed formula. More info is at healthyms.com/wic
