NATCHEZ, MS- Tuwanna Williams has been selected as the next Adams County Administrator following a unanimous vote by the Adams County Board of Supervisors.
Board President Angela Hutchins said the county reviewed eight applicants before interviewing three finalists. Williams was unanimously chosen by the board and is expected to begin her new role in approximately two weeks.
Williams succeeds Mitzi Conn, who resigned in May after serving as county administrator for about a year. She is well known in the Natchez-Adams County community for her work in workforce development, having previously led the collaborative workforce initiative before joining Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
Listen Up Y’all Media congratulates Williams on her appointment and wishes her all the best as she begins serving Adams County in her new role.
