Natchez, MS – On Saturday, May 9, 2020, Bishop Gunn Crawfish Boil will return to Natchez, MS, for its third southern celebration of Natchez, music, and food! This year’s event will move from its original location at Bluff Park to Rosalie Mansion. The second annual BGCB took place last year and attracted over 4,000 people – pulling visitors from 32 states, plus Belgium, the U.K., and Canada.
“Some of you have already heard the rumors and guessed the news… yes, it’s true, the Bishop Gunn Crawfish Boil is returning in 2020! Not only that, but we are moving to Rosalie Mansion this year, the site of our beloved Natchez Balloon Festival.
“We truly feel that we have the best fans in the world, which you all proved at last year’s BGCB when you came out in droves despite the poor weather. It’s only right that we repay your commitment with another go at this thing! This event is all about celebrating the culture of our beautiful hometown with local food, drink and of course, music! We’ll see y’all on May 9th!”
– Ben Lewis, Burne Sharpe, Drew Smithers, and Travis McCready, Bishop Gunn
2019 was a monumental year for Bishop Gunn. They toured Europe with Slash, supported Marcus King Band in the U.S., and opened up for The Rolling Stones and Guns N’ Roses! The band has recently been in the studio working on their follow-up album to critically acclaimed Natchez, with plans to release later this year.
