The photograph posted with the Sept. 16, 2022, article about restoration efforts for the Nellie Jackson house doesn’t show recent work done by owner J.T. Robinson that includes erecting support columns on the porch.
Robinson has been trying to clear up property ownership records to buy the house for a couple of years, but the sale was not finalized until November 2021.
Robinson said he is not asking people to give him money to help restore the property, but he did express interest in seeking historic preservation grants for the former brothel.
