Kaelin Ann Daye of A Gallerie Boutique and Taylor Cooley of Taylor Cooley Photography recently announced the winners of their 1st annual Downtown Natchez Easter Art Contest.
The contestants fell into five different age categories from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. These young artists were able to use any medium to create something within the Easter theme, specifically Eggs and Bunnies.
Kaelin and Taylor were very pleased with this first year. “We had a wonderful turnout with over 60 entries and we can’t wait to watch this grow over the years. Thank you to all of the teachers and students who participated.”
Art entries were judged by members of ArtsNatchez.
The winners can pick up their awards at A Gallerie Boutique starting on Friday, April 7th. Be prepared to take a photo with your art.
All artwork will be on display at Cooley & Co. starting Easter Sunday.
