NATCHEZ — As agendas for the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen meetings go, Tuesday’s agenda seems light.
But don’t let that fool you. Reports from aldermen and the mayor often hold surprises.
The Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 115 S. Pearl St., across from City Hall.
The meeting will begin with a public hearing on properties the city has identified as a danger to the community or otherwise in violation of city ordinances.
In other business, the agenda includes:
• a report from Justin Dollar, the city’s public works director, on the Downtown Microseal Project.
• Consider granting Edmond Perrault, who is in charge of information technology for the city, permission to sign a contract with C-Spire.
• miscellaneous updates from Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson.
If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, those interested can watch the meeting live on the city’s Facebook page and later on YouTube streaming.
