Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi (BGCCM) will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new Natchez-Adams County Extension Unit on Wednesday, June 24, at noon.
The new facility, located at 101 Cottage Home Drive, officially began serving local youth earlier this month and is already providing programs designed to help young people learn, grow, and succeed.
Community leaders, elected officials, supporters, families, and residents are invited to attend the ceremony, which will feature remarks from BGCCM leadership, community partners, local officials, and supporters. A ceremonial ribbon cutting and facility tours will follow.
The Natchez-Adams County Extension Unit offers programs focused on academic success, character and leadership development, healthy lifestyles, workforce readiness, STEM education, and more.
“This expansion represents our continued commitment to ensuring that every young person has access to quality programs, caring mentors, and opportunities that help them reach their full potential,” said Naomi Jackson, Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi. “We are excited to partner with the Natchez community and look forward to creating lasting impact for generations to come.”
The new club is part of BGCCM’s mission to inspire and enable young people, especially those who need support most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Community members interested in learning more about the club, volunteer opportunities, or partnership opportunities are encouraged to attend the event.
For 90 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi has provided safe places, caring mentors, and life-enhancing programs for youth across multiple communities.
