CONCORDIA PARISH, La. — Louisiana Central has entered into a new partnership with the Concordia Economic and Industrial Development District aimed at strengthening economic development efforts across Concordia Parish.
The partnership was established through a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement and is expected to provide additional economic development expertise, strategies and tools as local officials work to attract new investment and support existing businesses.
“This partnership represents a significant investment in Concordia Parish’s future,” Vidalia Mayor Buz Craft said. “By partnering with Louisiana Central, we are bringing additional expertise, proven economic development strategies, and modern tools to our community that will help us compete for new business investment, support existing employers, and ensure every opportunity is managed with transparency and accountability.”
Louisiana Central also praised the work already underway in Concordia Parish, noting the foundation local leaders have built for continued economic growth.
Through the partnership, Louisiana Central said it plans to support existing development initiatives while helping identify new opportunities for business investment, job creation and long-term economic growth throughout the parish.
Louisiana Central said it looks forward to working alongside Concordia Parish leaders to build on recent progress and strengthen the parish’s ability to compete for future economic development opportunities.
