Veterans across Southwest Mississippi are invited to attend a Veterans Appreciation & Resource Fair on Friday, November 6, offering an opportunity to be recognized for their military service while connecting with potential employers and support organizations.
The event, presented by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES), will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Uptown McComb, located at 1722 Veterans Boulevard.
The fair will bring together companies looking to hire veterans and military support organizations that provide resources and assistance to those who have served in the armed forces.
In addition to employment opportunities, the event aims to celebrate the service and sacrifices of military veterans while helping connect them with organizations that can support their needs.
Veterans from McComb, Pike County, Natchez, Adams County, and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend.
The event is part of MDES’s efforts to connect Mississippi veterans with employment opportunities and resources to help them transition into or advance within the civilian workforce.
