VIDALIA, La. — The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) is investigating the death of a woman found unresponsive at a residence in Vidalia on Sunday, November 1.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call at approximately 11:57 a.m. reporting an unresponsive woman at a home on Eagle Road.
Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the residence and confirmed that the woman was deceased.
The CPSO Criminal Investigations Division and the coroner’s office were immediately notified and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Authorities have not released the woman’s identity, and the official cause of death remains undetermined pending an investigation by the medical examiner’s office.
“This is an open and active death investigation,” Sheriff David Hedrick stated. “I encourage anyone with information that could help our investigators to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 318-437-0740.”
The investigation remains ongoing. No additional details have been released.
