Bishopric Industries is expanding its Natchez operations with a $5.75 million investment that will create 28 new jobs while increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity to meet growing customer demand.
Formerly known as Enerfab Process Solutions, Bishopric Industries specializes in the engineering, fabrication, and execution of process tanks, pressure vessels, and specialty equipment for industrial markets and critical infrastructure sectors. Its Natchez facility serves as a major heavy industrial fabrication operation, producing heavy process equipment, large steel components and modular project solutions.
The expansion will include the construction of a new storage facility, the addition of new manufacturing equipment, expanded storage areas, gravel and drainage improvements, and the installation of new gas and water lines. Company officials said the improvements are designed to support increased demand, including long-term contracts with some of the nation’s leading innovators.
The project is being supported by the Mississippi Development Authority through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive (MFLEX) program, along with assistance for site improvements. Adams County also is providing support for the expansion.
Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson praised both the company and its workforce, emphasizing that the investment reflects the dedication of the employees who have contributed to the company’s continued success.
“Today, we celebrate a great company—Bishopric—and its major investment in Natchez. But more importantly, we celebrate the true backbone of this company: its employees,” Gibson said. “Without these hardworking men and women, and the outstanding job they have done year after year, the success we celebrate today—and this exciting announcement—would not be possible.”
Gov. Tate Reeves said the expansion is another example of Mississippi’s growing industrial economy.
“Mississippi is a state where businesses can invest with confidence, grow and succeed,” Reeves said. “Bishopric Industries’ expansion is another example of the historic economic development success we’re seeing across Mississippi. Our industrial sector is already strong, and this project will make it even stronger.”
Mississippi Development Authority Executive Director Bill Cork said supporting companies already operating in the state remains a key focus of economic development efforts.
“Economic development doesn’t stop once a company opens its doors,” Cork said. “Supporting existing industry is at the core of MDA’s work, and Bishopric Industries’ latest investment is a clear example of that commitment.”
Bishopric Industries President Andy Koenig said the investment will allow the company to better serve industries that rely on its expertise.

Natchez, Inc. Executive Director Chandler Russ called the expansion a significant vote of confidence in Adams County.
