NATCHEZ, Miss. – Natchez’s James Ellis is ArtsNatchez Gallery’s Artist of the Month for November. A reception honoring him will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 425 Main St. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Ellis said he is an artist whose work reflects surrealism. Much of his work is created in graphite, acrylics, and ink.
The reception will feature multiple images arranged in a continuous display based on a graphic novel Ellis is writing. He said the project is partially inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry.
